Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Research Engineer specializing in Quantum Safe and AI technologies to join our advanced research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in AI technologies which can be adopted to test automation for Quantum Safe technologies such as QKD and PQC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development:
- Conduct cutting-edge applied research on AI based testing solutions for post-quantum cryptographic and quantum key distribution in the testbed.
- Investigate potential weaknesses in current cryptographic standards and help validate quantum-resistant algorithms.
- Conduct performance analysis and benchmark new cryptographic algorithms for robustness and scalability.
- Perform testing to evaluate the performance, security, and efficiency of post-quantum cryptographic methods.
- If necessary, upstream to global standards such as ITU-T, IETF, ETSI.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams of researchers, cryptographers, and engineers to tackle the challenges of post-quantum cryptography.
- Software Development:
- Implement and optimize AI technologies into testing solution for post-quantum cryptographic and quantum key distribution such as Python, C, C++, or etc.
- Work with existing cryptographic libraries and frameworks to integrate quantum-safe algorithms.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure secure integration of quantum-resistant cryptosystems into applications.
- Security Protocols:
- Design and test quantum-resistant security protocols for networks, cloud services, and distributed systems.
- Design and test key exchange and digital signature algorithms that are secure in the quantum era.
- Explore hybrid cryptography solutions that combine classical and post-quantum techniques for immediate use.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in software development using languages such as Python, C/C++ etc.
- Deep AI Knowledge including Generative AI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of quantum communication
- Good understanding of networking protocols and 5G
- Good understanding of security framework

- Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary research environment.
