We are looking for a skilled software engineer to design and build robust, scalable services supporting key business functions related to investment and market analytics. This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role working closely with domain experts and business stakeholders.
Your future role within QRT
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance services using Python and modern software development practices
- Leverage cloud-native technologies (AWS) to deploy, manage, and scale applications across environments
- Build and maintain automated test suites and delivery pipelines, applying CI/CD and DevOps best practices
- Work with technologies including REST APIs, SQL Server, Docker, and Kubernetes to build reliable distributed systems
- Collaborate directly with investment and analytics teams to industrialize and scale model-driven processes, with strong exposure to market and portfolio analytics workflows
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities, balancing business responsiveness with engineering quality
Your present skillset
- 3–8 years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining Python applications at scale
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and OOP
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with Docker
- Experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases
- A structured, pragmatic engineering mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
Good-to-Have
- Prior experience working on systems related to financial data, trading, or portfolio analytics
- Familiarity with investment management or market-facing use cases, including exposure to model evaluation, pricing logic, or time series data
