Your job

Being a Quant Trader is neither a part-time job nor a full-time job. It’s a lifestyle. The crypto markets are opened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, you need to be passionate about the job, you always want to follow the developments in the crypto space and most of all, love watching the markets. You need to be excited to spot opportunities and work closely with the team. It is a rewarding job, but that comes at the cost of always wanting to be present, whether it is day or night.

As a Quant Trader, you have a competitive attitude and have the eagerness to constantly improve yourself and to capitalize on opportunities. Together with the trading team, you are responsible for the execution of the trades, the PnL and working on the day-to-day trading operations. Besides this, you are always looking for the best results in terms of developing, maintaining and improving the trading strategies. In this dynamic environment, you are triggered by being faster and smarter than the competitors. Next to the trading team, you also work closely with our research and technology teams.

Who are you

  • You have a Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics, or equivalent

  • You have at least one year of experience in high-frequency trading or have completed an internship at an HFT firm

  • You always want to follow the market developments

  • Teamplayer with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills

  • Ability to spot opportunities and capitalize on them

  • Capability to make split second decisions

  • Experience with programming (Python or another language)

  • Pro-active, a self-starter, honest, flexible and stress resistant
