Qlik / BI Developer

As a BI Developer, you will design, develop, and support advanced business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a keen eye for data visualization, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik Sense.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting and analysis requirements.
• Design data models and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support dashboard development.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and usability of Qlik applications.
• Conduct data analysis and troubleshoot data inconsistencies or issues.
• Implement best practices for Qlik sense application development, including modularization, reuse, and version control.
• Support deployment, integration, and documentation of Qlik solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members or business users.
• Maintain data security and user access in accordance with governance policies.
• Stay updated with Qlik platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Proven experience (typically 3-4 years) in Qlik Sense application development. Candidates without experience are welcome to apply too!
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, SQL, and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with scripting and set analysis.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and experience building data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data security and access control in Qlik.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Qlik deployments.
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of APIs, Mashups, Git for integration of applications.
