Job Description

  • Develop and implement project QA/QC plans, procedures, and quality objectives for mechanical and process works.
  • Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, quality procedures, and testing protocols.
  • Oversee quality inspections and audits for mechanical and process systems, ensuring compliance with design requirements and project specifications.
  • Monitor installation quality for HVAC, piping, process utilities, cleanroom systems, process equipment, fire protection, compressed air, chilled water, and related mechanical systems.
  • Review material submittals, shop drawings, welding procedures, test packs, and inspection records.
  • Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), quality observations, corrective actions, and root cause analyses.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, commissioning teams, and client representatives on quality matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Track quality metrics and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch list management, and project handover activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale industrial construction projects.
  • Strong experience in Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Data Centre, Manufacturing, or High-Tech Facility projects.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, process utilities, piping installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
