The main goal of the PR Manager is to drive press and digital communications activities in the region.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate, based in Singapore, to drive the global vision, showcase Lombard Odier’s brand positioning and equity by leading external and internal communications and supporting all work streams as required across the different business units in the region – Private Banking, Institutional Banking and the Strategic Alliances.

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and strong team player with the ability to think out of the box and adapt to working with different internal stakeholders and colleagues across Asia and Europe.

YOUR ROLE

PR & Content

  • Media relations – cultivate and maintain relationships, coordinate interviews, manage media inquiries.
  • Press content development for press releases, talking points, bios for spokespersons, Q&As, presentation slides, etc.
  • Evaluate media and market findings to develop communication plans.
  • Develop strategies to enhance brand reputation and achieve positive brand equity.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement – working with senior management in Asia and Europe.
  • Management of agency relations that support Lombard Odier’s PR & Digital strategies.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Alliance partners to develop PR campaign plans and manage execution of joint media-related activities and events.

Digital

  • Management of regional digital networks (LinkedIn, corporate website & intranet).
  • Digital media content development – drive and manage a compelling strategy, creating relevant content for corporate website, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Implement customer engagement strategies via social media and digital platforms to drive lead generation.
  • Develop measures to enhance customer experience across traditional, digital and social media platforms and customer touch points.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience preferably in an agency.
  • Experience in financial or corporate communications is a plus.
  • Solid track record in communications and media relations at a regional level (focus on Singapore & Hong Kong).
  • Possess strong media contacts.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
  • Familiar with digital and social media ads and formats.
  • Organised with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to support the marketing team as required.
  • Possess the ability to own and drive regional external communications and also work as part of a team across all communication workstreams.
  • Excellent English proficiency in both written and spoken is required due to the nature of this communications role.
  • Chinese language proficiency is preferred to proof-read Chinese content/articles and manage Chinese speaking media.
  • Only Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
