Job Description & Responsibility-
- Propose, coordinate and execute media communication plans including strategy, targets, and budget.
- Help in managing PR agency team and other internal team members, as appropriate, to drive business results; direct agency resources and budget appropriately and monitor for quality control.
- Liaise with news monitoring agency to support daily news monitoring including online news, and collate and analyse media outreach, which includes competitors’ news monitoring and any undertaking of market research.
- Prepare press releases, byline articles, speeches and press materials.
- Manage the creation of all PR assets in close cooperation with in-house branding, marketing, merchandising, and with an external PR agency, including assisting in making appropriate content decisions.
- Contribute content to in-house content media assets for use in corporate communications and social media.
- Help in preparing competitive analysis, reporting and recaps on all PR programs/activities, and proactively propose opportunities and recommendations.
- Manage logistics for the organisation’s media and corporate events, including exhibitions, open days and press tours
- Devise and coordinate photo sessions for corporate and media events.
- Handle incoming press inquiries, nurture and sustain the organisation’s relationships with key influential media.
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertorial placements on an ongoing basis and subsequently manage the administrative details of confirming preferred media sponsorships.
- Manage the distribution of media materials, both print and electronic, including seasonal gifts, product samples, greeting cards, etc.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information, research, prepare and pitch press releases to targeted media and KOLs.
- 2 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing; experience in a multinational company is an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in spoken Mandarin is a plus for supporting China market communications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint); basic skills in graphic design are a plus.
- Able to manage time and workload effectively, and work well under deadlines.
- Organized, detail-oriented, diligent, and proactive.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to learn.
