Are you someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and loves seeing a project come together from the ground up? We are looking for a technically minded and operationally driven individual to join our Business Development department, where you'll play a key role in bringing world-class travelling exhibitions to life and delivering exceptional experiences at Science Centre Singapore.

[What you will be working on]

Get Hands-On with World-Class Exhibitions: From assembling and setting up blockbuster travelling exhibitions to overseeing their day-to-day operations, you'll be at the forefront of delivering memorable experiences for our visitors. You'll take ownership of the entire set-up process — coordinating logistics with partners and vendors, ensuring every element is installed correctly, and keeping operations running smoothly once the exhibition is live. For our own exhibitions deployed overseas, you may even be sent on-site to lead and guide local handlers, ensuring our standards are upheld no matter where in the world the exhibition lands.

Be the Engine Behind Our Events: Take charge of the operational coordination of MICE events held at our venues, working closely with internal teams to ensure every event runs seamlessly from start to finish. From the first planning meeting to the final pack-down, you'll be the operational backbone that keeps things running like clockwork — troubleshooting on the ground and ensuring every client leaves with a lasting impression of Science Centre Singapore as a world-class venue.

Drive Projects from Concept to Completion: Beyond operations, you'll contribute to the project management of our commercial portfolio, supporting sales and marketing efforts where needed to help drive the Centre's business objectives. You'll also take on consultancy-related work on an ad hoc basis, lending your expertise and on-the-ground experience to help shape new opportunities as they arise.

[What we are looking for]

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of relevant experience in exhibitions, events, or technical operations, or holds a STEM degree, and possesses hands-on experience or a strong interest in the technical set-up of such environments.

Strong project management, organisational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively, is open to local and overseas travel, and ideally has a keen interest in science and technology.

Candidates with more experience may be consider as a Senior Project Officer.
