Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Develop and execute the overall project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project success.

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies with functional leads to manage the risks.

  • Budget & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the project budget with the functional leads, ensuring all costs stay within budget

  • Track procurement processes and ensure all equipment, machinery and services are acquired on schedule.

  • of machinery, safety protocols, and adherence to quality standards.

  • Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Ensure all local and company regulations are met.

  • Address and resolve any challenges related to global trade compliance, ethics and safety standards.

  • Communication & Reporting:

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and risk escalation.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders throughout the project.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years of experience in managing large-scale projects.

  • Proven experience in managing multi-million-dollar projects and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with project financial documents and management

  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and operations, plant layout optimization, and industrial processes.

  • Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Driven and independent learner

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
