As a Project Manager within the R&D team at STEMCELL Technologies, you will work with high visibility to build relationships and add value to the business. Working closely with external and internal stakeholders, you’ll use your leadership skills within cross-functional teams to effectively manage product development projects within the R&D Department and employ systematic project management methodologies.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish detailed project charter, plans and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables

  • Execute project plan according to project methodologies and ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components on time and on budget

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders to align on project priorities

  • Employ leadership skills to engage with subject matter experts from across the organization to ensure relevant project information is documented and considered during the project lifecycle

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to identify and analyze project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and produce and control project timelines


Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience in a project management role

  • Formal project management training or certification considered an asset (e.g. Agile, CSM, PMP)

  • Related experience in project management facilitating and managing consultation processes with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google productivity and other project management tools (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Google Docs and Sheets)

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:

$81,700.00 - $122,500.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
