Project Manager
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Key responsibilities:
Project Management and Governance
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that impact one or across business, technology, and enterprising to drive project success.
- Manage all aspects of Digital project and program engagement for retail mobile banking platform from planning, resources planning and budget, change management, risks and issues, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Prepare overall implementation plan taking inputs from all stakeholders including technology, business, operations, regulators, etc., and co-ordinate execution by respective owners.
- Ensure that projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities, including chairing project management working committee meetings and facilitating steering committee meetings.
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
- Develop and present business cases with a consulting mindset, providing strategic recommendations for system upgrades, replacements, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and technology risk management standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage project stakeholders, e.g., escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure teams work in a collaborative environment.
- Manage stakeholders expectations through governance processes.
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
- Own and manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budget, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Pitch and present project strategies, updates, and impacts to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, operations, and product teams, to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Identify dependencies and proactively mitigate risks that may impact project deliverables.
Key Skills:
- Experience: Min 5 to 8 years in project and program management experience with a focus on digital initiatives. Proven experience in managing high-value and complex portfolio.
- Communication: Strong Pitching, presentation, and written communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and covey project updates and insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing risk, troubleshoots issues, and make data driven decisions related to resource allocation, project timelines, and financial metrics to keep portfolio on healthy track.
- Budget Management: Demonstrated success in managing project budgets delivery cost effective solutions and optimizing resources
- Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvement that enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Leadership: Effective leadership and collaboration skills to drive cross funtional team toward common goals and maintain effective communication channels.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align program activities with overarching business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in resource management, project scope, and delivery timelines.
