Job Description

Your key tasks 

  • Overall planning, execution and leadership of change the bank projects for Avaloq’s customers major global bank. Includes working with the required Avaloq units (Solution Architect / Consultants, Infrastructure, Support Services, Regional Banking Operations, customer representatives, etc) and partner resources, where applicable.to define project objectives and execute defined project plan.
  • Preparing project budget and subsequently, commercial offers in close cooperation with the Avaloq Solution Architect / Consultants and Key Account Managers for their submission and negotiation with prospective and existing customers.
  • Achieve defined objectives of the projects (scope, quality, time, budget, reporting, project staffing (internal Avaloq and external partners) and post project reviews).
  • Consulting and coaching of the customer's project managers and team to leverage best practices and business processes reflected in Avaloq’s Banking Reference.
  • Concurrently leading projects and support pre-sales offers to prospects.
  • Ensures deliverables are timely and of good quality

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as overall project leader in large projects (preferably involving the introduction of standard software solutions)
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5-8 years of project management experience in the private banking space is required
  • Project Management qualification from a leading accreditor
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the banking business and bank-related processes
  • Negotiation skills and proven experience up to steering committee level
  • Leadership experience involving interdisciplinary and multi-cultural teams
  • Experience in international change the bank’s platform projects would be advantageous
  • Persistent, assertive, resilient. Maintains an overview and can set priorities

It would be a real bonus if you have 

  • PMP Certified
  • Competency on Avaloq technologies is a strong bonus
