PURPOSE

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, including Product Launch Day-2 and Change Requests (CR). This role requires experience in both General Insurance (GI) and Life Insurance (LI) domains to ensure successful delivery of initiatives within scope, timeline, and budget.


KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Manage assigned projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with governance standards.

  • Oversee Product Launch’s Day-2 delivery and handle CRs, including prioritization, and implementation planning.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, Developers, QA, Business Users) to ensure timely delivery.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation (Project Plans, RAID logs, status reports).

  • Track progress, manage risks/issues, and escalate where necessary to stakeholders and management.

  • Facilitate walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings for requirements and solutioning.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with at least 10 years in insurance (GI and LI).

  • Proven track record of delivering medium-to-large scale projects within financial services or insurance industry.

  • Experience managing CR processes and Product Launch’s Day’s delivery.

  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.


KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

 

  • Strong understanding of Life Insurance and General Insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficient in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).

  • Skilled in MS Project, Excel, and collaboration tools (Teams, JIRA, Confluence).

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
