Your responsibilitiesConduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for Gas Chromatograph systems, verifying hardware, wiring, communication interfaces, and overall system functionality before customer delivery.
Configure and program GC systems by developing and modifying MaxBasic programs, implementing communication features, and supporting troubleshooting during testing activities.
Collaborate with Global R&D, Application Engineering, Assembly, and Runout teams to resolve technical issues, meet project milestones, and ensure successful project execution.
Support certification and compliance activities, including IECEx, ATEX, and CSA requirements, while maintaining technical documentation and participating in audit activities.
Drive engineering quality and continuous improvement by supporting engineering tools, maintaining accurate project documentation, and contributing to efficiency and standardization initiatives.
You hold a degree in Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
You bring 1-3 years of experience in industrial instrumentation, automation, process control, manufacturing engineering, system integration, testing, commissioning, or a related engineering field.
You have exposure to industrial communication protocols, hazardous area concepts, analyzer systems, automation systems, or equipment testing activities.
You have experience or interest in software configuration, programming, technical troubleshooting, SQL, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, AutoCAD, or process analyzer technologies.
You have strong communication skills and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a global organization.
Success in this role comes from your ability to combine strong engineering fundamentals with a hands-on approach to testing, system configuration, and technical problem solving. You will need to work effectively across multiple teams, maintain a high level of quality in documentation and compliance activities, and manage competing project priorities while meeting delivery commitments. Attention to detail, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to resolve technical challenges independently are essential.
