    Job Overview

    The Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, deployment, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of Managed Print Services (MPS) solutions for enterprise customers. The role combines technical expertise, project coordination, customer support, and vendor management to ensure successful delivery of managed print projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

    The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, sales, pre-sales, service delivery teams, vendors, and customers to design, deploy, and optimize Managed Print environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Windows and network infrastructure, and the ability to manage projects from planning through completion.

    Job Responsibilities

    · Managing of managed print solutions (MPS) project deployment

    · Deployment, maintenance, upgrading and support of client Managed Print environment (hardware, software, firmware, network, etc.)

    · Install and support print management software

    · Provide in-house, on-site and/or remote technical assistance to end-users, diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical problems

    · Perform firmware updates and preventive maintenance.

    · Coordinate project implementation to ensure timely completion.

    · Work closely with customers to resolve technical issues and provide good customer service.

    · Document technical work, configurations, and project progress.

    · Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

    · Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent

    · Minimally 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, printer support, or technical support.

    · Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments is an advantage.

    · Knowledge in on premise and cloud print management solutions such as Papercut, YSoft, uniFlow, SafeCom, Equitrac and Controlsuite will be an advantage.

    · Basic knowledge in networking and server administration.

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills

    · Fluent in spoken and written English.

    · Practical skills and experience in supporting Microsoft Windows and MacOS Operations.

    · Excellent communication and project coordination skills as this role involves handling both internal and external customers.

    · Knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, 10 and 11 environments.

    · Adept understanding of print environments and their practical application.

    · Willingness to learn new technologies.

    · Time management and multitasking.

    · Service-oriented mindset towards internal and external customers.
