About this role

We are looking for a visionary leader to join Circles as the Project Director. In this role, you will be at the forefront of executing large-scale telecommunications initiatives, ensuring the successful launch and scaling of telco products and services. This role involves managing cross-functional stakeholders, navigating matrix organizations, and driving programs that transform customer experiences. The ideal candidate brings extensive telco experience, proven program leadership, and a history of delivering success in high-growth markets.

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership in Telco

Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale telco program launches, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market timelines.

Manage detailed project plans, incorporating telecommunications-specific considerations such as network rollouts, customer onboarding, and regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the central liaison for all internal and external telco program stakeholders, including product, marketing, operations, network, and technology teams.

Collaborate with external telecom partners, vendors, and regulators to ensure seamless program delivery.
Driving Growth in Telecommunications

Execute and scale initiatives within high-growth telco environments, demonstrating adaptability to fast-changing industry trends and customer demands.

Leverage past experiences to optimize go-to-market strategies, focusing on customer acquisition, service quality, and revenue growth.

Team Leadership

Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a results-oriented culture and enabling professional growth.

PMO Excellence in Telecom

Apply proven PMO methodologies to the telecommunications context, ensuring program governance, risk management, and milestone tracking.

Use telco-specific performance indicators to assess program success, such as ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), network reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Matrix Organization Navigation

Align diverse teams and resources within a matrixed organizational structure to achieve seamless execution of telecom programs.

Break down silos between network, product, and marketing teams to ensure holistic program success.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience leading telco-specific programs or large-scale launches, with a track record of success.

Proven PMO expertise, specifically within telecommunications, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-stakes projects.

Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in working with telecom regulators, partners, and vendors.

Experience navigating matrix organizations within the telecommunications industry.

Leadership Skills

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams within telco environments.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
