The Project Controller analyzes project costs against schedules, manages budgets, prepares forecasts, and ensures timely billings while collaborating with stakeholders for project success.
What you will do:
As Project Controller, you will be responsible for BT&S project control, routinely analyze, evaluate and forecast the project cost against the baseline cost schedule and assessing the impacts/opportunities.
- Establish and maintain project WBS including revenue and billing
- Monitor and maintain contract reconciliation
- Establish and maintain project budgets, and overall cost control
- Prepare Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) and variance analysis [budget vs actual]
- Drive project profitability and other performance metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate project billings
- Track, reconcile and work to minimize project unbilled balances
- Prepare risk and opportunity assessments; develop and execute plans to mitigate risks
- Prepare ad hoc project reporting and analysis as required
- Prepare detailed monthly project rolling forecasts
- Participating in monthly project review meetings
- Timely and accurate project settlement, prepare month end project journal entries
How you will do it:
- Partner with Project Operations stakeholders within BT&S, to assist project processes to track and close projects and optimize schedule.
- Partners with Project Operations stakeholders to assist project processes from proposal through project execution cycle to optimize schedule, scope and cost to maximize customer success and profitability
- Work with Project Operations stakeholders to implement project costing and review processes that enable vertical and integrated solution growth strategies to achieve profit goals
- Work with Project Operations stakeholders to facilitate key metric and projects reviews monthly and update the information related to project costing and review process
- Build and maintain project tracking dashboards used for project estimation and approvals
- Assist in ERP system migration activities & always maintain an effective and efficient project documentation
- Ad-hoc projects based on management needs
What we look for:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of work experience.
- Strong interest in project finance, forecasting, estimation, particularly revenue recognition policies
- Strong business partnership & delivery of results in a matrix environment
- Computer proficient and proficiency in Microsoft excel is a must
- Proven communication skills
