We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Production Planner to lead production planning efforts and ensure efficient manufacturing operations to join the Spectacles Team at Snap Inc. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of supply chain and production processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet demand forecasts, minimize costs, and optimize inventory.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed production plans that align with sales forecasts, inventory targets, and customer demand.

  • Coordinate with program management, procurement, engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure material availability and production readiness.

  • Design and manage  the Factory Capacity Plan to analyze capacity constraints and proactively resolve potential bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts.

  • Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, supply disruptions, or engineering changes.

  • Implement and maintain planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems, including lead times, safety stock levels, and lot sizes.

  • Generate and present production planning reports and performance metrics - KPIs (e.g., schedule adherence with OEE, on-time delivery - OTD).

  • Support new product introductions (NPI & Prototype) by integrating plans with ramp-up schedules and manufacturing readiness.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning efficiency, inventory optimization, and waste reduction - Lean Six Sigma efforts..

  • Provide partnership within the Operations (Production, Procurement, Quality and Engineering) and Program Management Teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, able to lead stand up, planning and capacity model meetings.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities (Semiconductors environment).

  • Strong sense of Quality Service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or production scheduling in a complex environment.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or production scheduling in a complex environment.

  • Previous experience managing Factory production plans and designing Capacity models from the scratch

  • Semiconductors environment background.

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certifications

  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certifications.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$133,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$126,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$113,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
