From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

• Manage a team of front-line production employees, including overseeing manpower deployment, efficiency, productivity, absenteeism, turnover, recruitment, disciplinary investigation & execution etc.
• Leading the team to meet defined targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Work closely and collaboratively with relevant functions to meet/exceed customer expectation.
• Address employee concerns, resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
• Maximize labor utilization and flexibility through cross training for supporting business needs.
• Implement LEAN to the applicable processes within the cells.
• Ensure effective flowdown of company information to the team.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a front-line leader who can manage and engage a team, drive LEAN and productivity, and consistently meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery targets while upholding company and regulatory policies.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in first line management or relevant field
• Minimum 2 years or related working experience
• Familiarity with company policies/processes and legal guidelines of the aviation field
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience in LEAN concepts
• Independent with initiative
