As part of this Digital Transformation, our Trading Copilot product has rapidly expanded in both scale and capability, introducing innovative features, and responding to growing demand across our Global Platforms. As part of this dynamic and growing team, you will be at the forefront of leveraging AI to continue delivering an outstanding user experience, to sustain LDC ambitious growth, and to strengthen the Product Team in Singapore.
We are looking for a highly technical-skilled and customer-focused Product Specialist for our DT&A Platform with a strong background in Trading Copilot. We seek for someone who brings knowledge of commodity trading and possesses a genuine passion for user success. This role needs to support user on-boarding, prepare and analyze reporting for key product KPIs, drive adoption and retention, and deliver expert product guidance. The role has a strong focus on AI and Emerging Technologies as this role needs to help users leverage innovative digital capabilities within Trading Copilot. This role will act as a key point of contact to provide users with hands-on training, collect valuable feedback, ensuring that every user fully benefits from the LDC Trading Copilot Product’s evolving capabilities. You will help the users to realize the value, thrive on building strong relationships, and enjoy translating complex features into accessible solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- User Engagement and Support:
- Act as the key point of contact to coordinate and engage key Trading Copilot users, deliver hands-on assistance, and address queries in a timely manner
- Facilitate effective on-boarding for the new users by developing and delivering targeted training sessions and user guides
- Communicate effectively if there is any changes in the LDC Trading Copilot Product’s implementation (before and after) to the users to mitigate any downstream impact to the business operations
- Adoption, Retention, and Reporting:
- Drive users’ adoption and retention initiatives, to ensure that both new and existing users realize the full potential value of LDC Trading Copilot’s features and capabilities
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain the reporting for key product KPIs, to support data-driven decision-making and transparency for the internal stakeholders
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to support feature planning, testing, and roll-out activities
- Promote a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvement within the Trading Copilot Team
Experiences:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experiences in agribusiness/commodity/feed/food/etc industry
- Experience in agricultural commodity trading/freight/logistics/similar markets, is highly preferred
- Genuine interest in commodity trading industry
- Passionate about staying abreast of the latest trends in AI, data science, and industry innovations
- Strong background in user on-boarding, user facing, product specialist (Digital/Technology), business analyst, or client services
- Proven experience in driving user adoption, delivering training, and/or providing expert support for complex digital tools/platforms
- Experience in modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Experience in collecting users’ feedback, supporting users through process/technology transitions, and relaying actionable insights to the product/development teams
- Experience in change management initiatives and facilitating new solutions’ adoption
- Experience in working with teams in different geographical locations
- Ability to manage users’ feedback and summarize users’ feedback into key/actionable insights
- Ability to analyze trends, data, and numbers to draw meaningful conclusions and write comprehensive reports
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to present complex technical concepts in an accessible manner to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
- Good business acumen and commercial awareness
- Ability to understand the business needs, potential issues, and propose innovative ideas/solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees & management
- Ability to handle/prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Independent self-starter who takes initiative, and has a proactive attitude toward problems and issues
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and Power BI
- Experience in data analysis libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, SciPy)
- Experience in working with large, complex datasets
- Experience in implementing fuzzy matching algorithms, optimization techniques, and other advanced analytics methods are a strong plus
- Strong statistical and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of data management best practices
- Good Business Intelligence awareness
Languages:
- English (Fluent)
- Additional language in ASEAN is an added advantage
Academics:
- Degree in Computer Science/Data Science/Econometrics/Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics or related field of study
