Who are we?
iPiD empowers financial institutions, payment service providers, and enterprises with a single global API for Know Your Payee (KYP) verification—reducing fraud, reducing costs, staying compliant, and streamlining cross-border payments, globally.
We are a fast-growing fintech startup, founded by a global team of industry veterans from iconic organizations like SWIFT and Thomson Reuters. Supported by leading investors such as Monk's Hill Ventures, Jungle Ventures and Saison Capital, and guided by an advisory team featuring C-suite leaders from Microsoft, Commonwealth Bank, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Our team combines global expertise with local insights; we are present across key cities—including Singapore, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, London, New York, and Dubai.
What are we looking for?
You're a product person with real experience in payments and fintech, but you haven't lost your curiosity or your hands-on instincts. You think in systems and ship in sprints. Here, you won't just be improving a product. You'll make it easy for banks, fintechs, and payment providers across the world to verify payment accounts, every time. If you're energised by turning complexity into something elegant and global, and you get restless without real impact - this is the environment for you.
This is a full-time position, either based in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, reporting to Head of Product.
Core Responsibilities:
- Product design and pipeline management: Lead the design, development, and delivery of software modules that make payee verification seamless, compliant, and scalable.
- Feature and enhancement delivery: Collaborate with business development and engineering to ship enhancements to our API products that streamline processes, reduce friction, and create moments of genuine customer delight - from faster onboarding to more intelligent match results.
- Data analysis and mapping: Dig into performance data and international payment scheme intelligence to surface insights that drive product decisions - identifying where we can reduce failed payments, strengthen fraud prevention, and unlock new market opportunities.
- Enablement: Champion the product inside and out - equipping sales and client-facing teams with the tools and narratives to win, and working closely with clients to ensure successful onboarding, strong adoption, and the kind of ongoing relationship that turns customers into advocates.
- Cross-functional alignment: Be the connective tissue across engineering, sales, operations, and communications - translating priorities, removing blockers, and making sure every team is moving in the same direction to bring the product to its full strength to our global market.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of product management experience in cross-border payments, preferably in financial services or fintech
- Strong command of running product development processes and methodologies like Agile, Scrum, with a track record of taking products from concept to delivery
- Hands-on experience with customer-driven product development practices
- Exceptional analytical skills - able to structure databases, generate insights, guide decisions, and communication findings through storytelling and visualization
- Familiarity with API integrations, software solutions, and translating product features into logical rules, with basic code literacy
- A logical, algorithmically-minded approach to problem-solving - comfortable engaging with data, models, and machine learning concepts at a level that enables meaningful conversations with the engineering team
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, CRM, CMS, Tableau
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, results-oriented approach - equally effective with tech teams, business stakeholders and external clients
- Versatile, creative, and intellectually curious - you pick up new skills and tools in service of the problem, not the other way around
- Must have authorization to work; visa sponsorship is not available
