Product Manager

Position Summary

Deliver feature-rich, technology-driven, robust and quality software applications and systems. Work closely with the business and tech teams to drive communication, understanding and consent of requirements and acceptance criteria in all aspects of the digital platform and software systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform market research and analysis on competitor/comparable products.
• Identifying and designing new products, focusing on the business value provided to clients
• Deeply understand client needs via close interactions, whenever possible and with business and client facing teams in HexTrust. Ask probing questions to clients to understand the problem they are trying to solve and their need, even if not explicitly and clearly expressed
• Bring new ideas and solutions to the table, become a thought partner to the business teams
• Calibrate the trade-off between fulfilling a specific client need vs. making a product that can properly address similar needs of multiple clients. Product vs. tailor made trade-off
• Continuously assess current product portfolio on its value proposition to clients and identify areas of improvement early
• Define features, write product specifications, facilitate user studies, iterate on feedback, help write test plans with QA, manage the backlog, and ultimately ship products/features in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain the team’s roadmap, milestones, and dependencies with strategic priorities in mind.
• Prioritize initiatives and projects appropriately and weigh tradeoffs that must be made
• Perform the product owner role in agile teams
• Define features, write product specifications, facilitate user studies, iterate on feedback, help write test plans with QA, manage the backlog, and ultimately ship products/features in a timely manner.
• Manage specific features within a product line; nurture and lead Junior team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in financial services, particularly digital assets.
• Proven expertise in cryptocurrency trading, DeFi, and mainstream digital assets.
• Strong focus on delivering exceptional User Experience for institutional clients.
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycles, challenges, and trade-offs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of financial products like derivatives (perpetual swaps, dated futures, options).
• Experience working in start-up environments with an Agile mentality.
