Job Description: Product Manager, Market Expansion

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Market Expansion team, focusing on bringing YouTrip’s to new markets. You will be defining, planning, and executing the product strategy and roadmap. You are someone who enjoys leading complex launches, working closely with external partners, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver market-ready products.

You will own market-level problem spaces and drive end‑to‑end readiness for launch—from localisation and regulatory alignment to operational workflows and go‑to‑market execution. You will work closely with engineering, compliance, legal, operations, finance, marketing, and external vendors to ensure our products are tailored to local needs while maintaining a consistent regional experience. This role reports into the Director of Product Management and works closely with country leads and regional stakeholders.

You Will
  • Own and drive end‑to‑end product launch initiatives from discovery and scoping through execution, roll‑out, and post‑launch optimisation.
  • Lead market discovery by understanding local user needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with external partners (e.g. banking partners, payment networks, compliance/KYC providers, technology vendors) to align on requirements, integration timelines, testing plans, and launch readiness.
  • Translate market and partner inputs into structured product requirements, use cases, and prioritised backlogs for engineering and design.
  • Work with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure products and workflows meet local regulations and internal policies, including required documentation, approvals, and controls.
  • Collaborate with operations, customer support, and finance to design and validate end‑to‑end operational flows, SLAs, and escalation paths before launch.
  • Partner with marketing, growth, and country teams to plan launch milestones, customer communication, and in‑app journeys that support acquisition, activation, and engagement in each market.
  • Maintain clear timelines, dependencies, and launch checklists, proactively identifying risks and issues, driving alignment, and ensuring stakeholders stay informed and accountable.
  • Define and monitor launch and post‑launch metrics (e.g. activation, usage, funnel conversion, operational performance) to assess market performance and identify follow‑up improvements.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of outstanding and relevant product management experience.
  • Strong capability to collaborate and drive alignment across different teams/stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams, track dependencies, and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and timelines.
  • Able to clearly articulate options and trade-offs, and demonstrate strong product judgement in your recommendations.
  • Comfortable working with external partners and vendors, translating commercial and technical discussions into clear requirements and next steps.
  • If you’ve launched products in new markets, that would be a bonus.
