We are looking for a Product Manager to join YouTrip’s Product team, working on our core platform that powers critical user, transaction, and operational capabilities. This role is ideal for a technically curious Product Manager with 1–4 years of experience who enjoys working on complex systems and wants to understand how a fintech product operates end-to-end.You will work on one of our core problem spaces at a time, owning meaningful product areas while developing a strong understanding of how our platform, internal teams, and external partners work together. The scope spans user-facing experiences, internal tools, and backend systems that must be accurate, reliable, and scalable.This role reports into the Director of Product Management and works closely with engineering, operations, finance, risk, compliance, and customer support teams.

What you’ll do

  • Own and drive product initiatives within a core platform area, from problem definition through delivery and iteration
  • Translate business, operational, and regulatory needs into clear product requirements and system workflows
  • Work closely with engineers on backend-heavy systems, integrations, APIs, data flows, and edge cases
  • Improve system reliability, accuracy, and scalability across transaction flows, internal processes, and controls
  • Partner with internal teams to reduce manual work, operational risk, and customer-impacting issues
  • Support integrations with external partners and vendors, ensuring clear ownership and expectations
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, backlog prioritisation, and sequencing with awareness of dependencies and trade-offs
  • Define and track product and operational metrics such as system accuracy, turnaround time, failure rates, and user impact
  • Produce clear documentation including product requirements, workflows, and system diagrams

Requirements
  • 1–4 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a closely related role
  • Comfortable working on technically complex or backend-heavy products
  • Strong ability to understand workflows that cut across engineering, operations, finance, and risk
  • Curious, fast learner who is not intimidated by ambiguity, constraints, or regulated environments
  • Able to work closely with engineers and ask thoughtful questions about system behaviour, data, and failure modes
  • Structured thinker who can break down messy problems into practical, executable solutions
  • Clear written communicator who values good documentation and clarity
  • Collaborative, low-ego team player who takes ownership and follows through

Bonus (not required)

  • Exposure to fintech, payments, financial systems, or regulated products
  • Experience with internal tooling, operational platforms, or system integrations
  • Familiarity with risk, compliance, fraud, or control-related product areas
  • Technical background or strong comfort working with backend systems
