What will you do?
The Family Life Group in MSF enables trusted, secure digital transactions for every citizen, parent and employer.
As a Product Manager, you’ll help ensure the integrity, reliability, and operational excellence of our suite of family and inter-generational products.
You’ll work at the intersection of operations and product, supporting the ongoing enhancements with outsourced development teams and downstream or upstream agencies.
We are seeking a mid-level Product Manager to own and drive the success of Our Marriage Journey, a digital e-service that enables citizens to register civil and Muslim marriages.
This role requires a hands-on strategic thinker who can balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives whilst working closely with crossfunctional teams including vendors, engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Lead Product Manager on product strategy, define requirements, and ensure successful product enhancements that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strategy & Outcomes: Set product strategy and OKRs aligned to MSF; translate needs into a sequenced and measurable roadmap.
- Prioritisation & Decision-Making: Own backlog prioritisation across domains; make and communicate clear trade-offs with documented rationale.
- Delivery Partnership: Partner with Business, Vendor Engineering, and Design teams to deliver iteratively; manage dependencies and collaborate closely across all stakeholders.
- Market and Customer Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilise insights to inform product development and positioning.
- User Advocacy: Act as the voice of the user within the organisation. Ensure that user needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development processes.
- Adoption & Change: Work closely with operations teams to plan rollout readiness including training, communications, support, and feedback loops to improve adoption across government divisions.
- Metrics, Risk & Governance: Ensure proper instrumentation and dashboards for adoption, efficiency, and quality metrics; proactively manage risks including privacy, security, data quality, and operational readiness.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- 4+ years of product management experience with evidence of shipping outcomes and leading cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong product craft including discovery methodologies, prioritisation frameworks, metrics definition, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder influence.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for product outcomes and team performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
