As a Product Management Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting the product management team in various aspects of product development, research, and market analysis. This is a unique opportunity to learn about hardware commercialization and development. You will be working closely with the Product Manager of the assigned category to support the development and commercialisation. Key Responsibilities
Market and Product Research
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Perform competitor analysis to benchmark product features, pricing, and positioning.
- Craft detailed product requirements based on research findings and stakeholder inputs.
Product Testing
- Assist in product testing and validation to ensure quality and performance.
- Document and report any issues or bugs to the development team for resolution.
- Support the creation of test plans and test cases.
Supporting Collateral Creation
- Develop and maintain product manuals, user guides, and compatibility charts.
- Ensure that all product documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly.
Marketing Content and Collaterals
- Support the marketing team in creating engaging content for product promotions.
- Assist in developing marketing collaterals such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials.
In-Market Analysis
- Monitor and analyze the performance of products in the market.
- Collect and interpret customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on product performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in product management, market research, and marketing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
