Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Your responsibilities as the Product Developer will include but not limited to:
• Survey and compile trends and designs of various apparel and accessories in current market and recommend potential upcoming designs.
• Develop new products with supplier exclusively and margin optimization.
• Identify opportunities and cost structures to determine optimal pricing to be competitive compared to market demands.
• Suppliers sourcing and coordinate on proposed designs, artworks and samples.
• Sourcing for potential new brands or suppliers, evaluate and propose for business.
• Performs quality checks on the proposed designs based on requirements and budget.
• Compile and forward order quantities for Management’s approval and thereafter liaise with suppliers.
• Collaborating with buyers, pricing and sales team (retail and E-Commerce) to create compelling products displays, promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of stocks from suppliers.
• Managing stock allocation to outlets.
• Prepare and analysis reports for stakeholders’ review.
• Any other lawful assignments as instructed by superior as and when required.
Requirement:
Candidate must have the following requirement:
o Candidate must possess at a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma.
o Professional certification in Purchasing will be an advantage.
o Suppliers' relationship management.
o Possess analytical ability and negotiation skills.
o Preferably Executives specializing in Merchandising/Buying with experience from textile, softline in hypermarket environment or fast-moving consumers goods (FMCG).
o Willing to work at Sunway City, Selangor (HQ).
o Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
o Fresh graduates or at least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field are encouraged to apply.
