About The Role

We are seeking a Product Designer to join our lean, high-impact team. In this role, you will design key product screens, all portal screens, and select marketing assets—translating the high-energy, premium feel of TOKEN2049 and SuperAI into intuitive digital experiences that serve tens of thousands of attendees, sponsors, and speakers across both flagship events.

Responsibilities
  • Own the Product Experience: Lead the end-to-end design of our main products, portals, and applications for both TOKEN2049 and SuperAI—ensuring attendees, sponsors, and speakers have a seamless journey from ticket purchase to post-event engagement.
  • Build a Scalable Design System: Establish and maintain a robust design system in Figma that ensures consistency across both event platforms, marketing microsites, and the main TOKEN2049 and SuperAI websites, allowing our small team to move fast without breaking visual cohesion.
  • Elevate the Hype: Work with the marketing team to prototype and animate digital content for social media that captures the "buzz" of both events—think countdown timers, ticket drop animations, and recap reels that drive engagement for our next events in Dubai or Singapore.
  • The Event Mindset: You understand that a great event starts long before the doors open. You are obsessed with the user journey from the moment someone buys a ticket to the moment they share a photo from the afterparty—whether for TOKEN2049 or SuperAI.
  • Figma Mastery: You are an expert in Figma, including auto-layout, components, and interactive prototyping. You use the tool not just for delivery, but as a thinking tool to solve complex user problems across multiple event platforms.
  • Speed & Scrappiness: We operate in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines (event dates don't move!). You know how to balance "pixel-perfect" with "shipping on time" and can make quick, smart trade-offs across both projects.
  • Motion & Micro-Interactions: You understand that great digital events feel alive. Experience with motion design (After Effects, Lottie, or Protopie) is a massive plus to bring our interfaces to life for both TOKEN2049 and SuperAI audiences.
  • Strong Visual Taste: You have a sharp eye for layout, typography, and color. You must be able to work within the existing TOKEN2049 and SuperAI brand guidelines (using specific fonts and color palettes) while pushing the boundaries of what digital event experiences can look like.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of professional product design experience, preferably within tech, events, or high-growth startup environments.
  • Proven track record of shipping digital products —from concept to launch—with a portfolio showcasing web platforms, portal screens, and mobile app interfaces for multiple brands or distinct product lines.
  • Deep expertise in Figma is non-negotiable. You should be able to demonstrate advanced component libraries, auto-layout mastery, and interactive prototyping.
  • Experience designing for events, marketplaces, or social features is a strong plus—you understand how to design for connection and engagement.
  • Familiarity with Framer, Protopie, or similar tools to build high-fidelity prototypes that communicate interaction and motion to stakeholders.
  • Exposure to working with product managers and engineers in an agile environment, translating ambiguous requirements into polished, user-centered designs.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates: end-to-end product thinking, strong visual execution, and the ability to work within (and contribute to) design systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field —or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves
  • Crypto & AI Curiosity: You don't need to be a trader or a data scientist, but you should be excited by Web3 culture, the future of finance, and the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence. Interest in both spaces will help you design better solutions for our audiences.
  • Community Design: Experience designing social features, chat, or community-led platforms.
  • Data-Informed Design: Experience using analytics or feedback to refine event apps and increase user retention and meeting bookings.
  • Illustration or 3D Skills: Ability to create custom icons, illustrations, or simple 3D assets for digital campaigns.
  • Branding Knowledge: Experience working within and extending established brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across product and marketing touchpoints for multiple brands.
  • Framer Knowledge: Experience using Framer to build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes or simple microsites that bring design concepts to life for stakeholders.
