The role we are seeking will be part of the Design Team, which includes 30 professionals such as UX designers, UI designers, Design System specialists, Motion designers, Brand designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and UX strategists. We work together through meetings, critiques, and data-driven decisions. We are obsessed with quality design, and our commitment is reflected in our award-winning products. The Responsibilities and Requirements for the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate UI and Design System Lead to develop and expand our coded design systems with AI-ready architectures. You will join the UI and Design System team, bringing practical experience with design-engineering integration, including implementation constraints, states, APIs, and platform differences.
- 4+ years of experience in structuring and scaling a Design System (coded) focusing on mobile (Android, iOS) with AI-ready architectures.
- Design-engineering fluency and comfort discussing implementation constraints, states, APIs, and platform differences.
- Demonstrated experience delivering reusable design-system components, patterns, or foundations in a complex digital-product environment.
- Strong Figma capability, including component properties, variables, modes, libraries, and scalable file organization.
- Working knowledge across design-system foundations, component architecture, and template systems, including tokens, theming, documentation, versioning, reusable business patterns, and contribution workflows.
- You have a portfolio showcasing the successful implementation of design systems from concepts to final execution with AI references.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design.
- You should have a strong opinion and the ability to sell your vision, but you should also be ready to adapt and change when alternatives are more compelling.
- A collaborative mindset to create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly conveying design decisions to stakeholders. This role involves multiple countries within a multinational team; English is our primary language.
