Product Compliance Readiness Manager (CRM)

We ensure product compliance to global regulatory, market and customer requirements in all our target regions. We work across segments and functions to integrate policy relating to emissions, safety and the environment into products and solutions. As we align regulatory standards with our strategic plans, we work closely with regulatory bodies, as well as with industry and customer groups.

An opening based in Singapore Design Centre (SDC), Jurong for Product Compliance Readiness Manager (CRM) of Global Regulations/Standards and Environmental Affairs team is available.
Our Product Compliance Readiness Manager (CRM) is pivotal in leading cross-functional teams through the Offer Lifecycle Process (OLP) to deliver high-quality products and solutions, ensuring optimal customer experience, schedule adherence, cost efficiency, and supply continuity. CRM oversee the regulatory compliance program's lifecycle, from simplifying complex regulatory requirements to the integration into product development through launch and sustainment, ensure seamless product compliance transitions to achieve strategic objectives and support Dell’s global product market access.
You will:
Leads cross-functional teams worldwide to deliver products, services, or solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed objectives related to cost, quality, schedule, features, and customer needs.
Responsible for implementing applicable regulations, standards, and global market requirements for electromagnetic compatibility, energy, acoustics, safety, security, accessibility, and/or environmental features relevant to the design and fulfilment of Products/Solutions
Assists in the identification of regulatory and market access requirements; influences/creates regulations & standards; and provides End-to-end (E2E) Product Life Cycle management solutions to meet our global Regulatory Country Ship to List (CStL). Utilizing business processes such as the Aggregate Product Planning process and the Phase Review Process, manages program execution from development through launch and sustainment, aligning with strategic business objectives and maintaining compliance through regular audits and reviews
Influences at various organizational levels as a subject matter expert, building high-performance teams to define product goals and manage the creation, review, and approval of key program documents. Oversees the development and approval of Offer Lifecycle deliverables, manages major risks and issues, and ensures cross-functional alignment with program changes and performance reporting
Prepares core teams for ISO Audits to maintain corporate compliance, communicates with Dell organizations/customers for business development, and manages non-product cross-LOB initiatives. Simultaneously manages multiple programs, addressing risks and issues, and communicates program adjustments and post-mortem findings to enhance future phases. Defines supporting and driving process improvements

Essential Requirements
Bachelor Degree with min 8 years and above relevant work experience.
Knowledge on product compliance, especially in Safety, EMC, Wireless, Telecom and Environmental (e.g. Energy, Material, ECO Labels, Accessibility, Repairability, Packaging and etc.) legislation programs.
Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify cause. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of information requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical point
Track record of being an enthusiastic and effective team player with experience leading and influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.. Exceptional organizational and communications skills
Desirable Requirements
Education in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Communications, Science, Chemical or other related subjects.
