As a DRAM Module HVM and CXL Product Engineer with Central Engineering, DRAM Module and CXL (DMC) group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the product performance of Micron's DRAM Module Product Line and CXL products. You will be responsible for addressing DRAM Module customer Return Material Authorizations (RMA) and resolving factory issues, as well as contributing to the design and development of new hardware products.
- Investigate the root causes of DRAM Module RMA issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose corrective actions and recovery plans.
- Address hardware design-related issues with Micron factories worldwide and work with R&D to resolve FMEA, DFT, and DFM concerns.
- Lead technical efforts to quickly resolve escalated manufacturing yield losses due to module design issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Work independently in a technical lead role and collaborate with global cross-functional teams to resolve module design-related issues affecting manufacturing (MFG) and customers.
- Work with the customer support team to provide timely and effective solutions for DRAM module customer escalations.
- Design, develop, test, validate, and release complex electronic systems and modules to manufacturing based on product marketing requirements and new memory technologies.
- Follow best practices for signal and power integrity, as well as mechanical and thermal design, when designing electronic systems and modules.
- Support product certification, new product introduction (NPI), production, and manufacturing activities, including the transfer of products from engineering to manufacturing and materials procurement.
- Collaborate with external customers, distributors, vendors, or suppliers to initiate new designs and solve problems.
Skills & Experience
- A Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics Engineering with 8+ Year of relevant work Experience.
- Experienced in the complete product cycle of hardware design, including hardware architecture, circuit design, debugging, manufacturing, and assembly.
- Good understanding of high-speed board design, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI) concepts.
- Comfortable using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Working experience in SMT6e and PC Motherboard will be advantageous Solid knowledge and extensive experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR, ONFI, UFS) and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, JTAG)
- Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, and Python. Work on site in Singapore with regional Asia travel.
