As Micron's Principal, Global Culture & Inclusion Japan, you will be a key member responsible for deeply integrating GCI strategy into regional initiatives and organizational processes.

As an individual contributor, this position works closely with HR teams, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and several business units. It develops a welcoming, equitable workplace and supports equity initiatives. This opportunity allows you to influence culture and drive crucial transformations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion the rollout of GCI strategy in Japan, tailoring initiatives to fit local cultures and business needs.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and People Business Partners to embed GCI strategy throughout the talent lifecycle.
  • Drive business outcomes such as retention, innovation, and team performance aligned with Micron Values.
  • Serve as the organization’s GCI expert, providing strategic advice and actionable insights to empower teams and develop inclusion.
  • Partner with ERGs to strengthen inclusive programs, drive engagement, and build community.
  • Customize and localize global GCI programs and materials to ensure regional accessibility and efficiency.
  • Develop and analyze GCI metrics, translate data into strategies to improve impact, and coordinate diversity-focused events and learning sessions to foster belonging and collaboration.
  • Lead GCI communications and branding efforts to increase visibility, raise awareness, and promote an inclusive environment culture.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in Culture & Inclusion, HR, Talent, or Program Management
  • Strong project management and cross-functional partnership
  • Skilled facilitator and communicator, with GCI experience
  • Ability to lead key partners
  • Ability to turn data into actionable plans
  • Knowledge of HR, talent processes, and local employment laws
  • Experience in global and multicultural settings
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to travel to the Hiroshima site frequently
