The Bid & Quote Analyst provides support for bid P&L preparation. The role ensures that all price approvals and governance processes are adhered to.
Job Description
  • Formulate product pricing models by analyzing market trends, relative value, competitive positioning, product attributes, portfolio optimization, and market maximization.

  • Provide actionable insights on how new and updated pricing strategies impact overall profitability.

  • Gather and evaluate competitive intelligence, consumer and carrier value maps, and subsidy structures to drive market leadership through effective positioning.

  • Conduct thorough analysis to assess and understand customer price sensitivity.

  • Prepare Bid P&Ls for key proposals, tenders, and contracts.

  • Maintain accurate product cost databases and ensure timely issuance of updated price lists.

  • Lead and participate in the bid scrub process while documenting all required approvals and maintaining policy compliance.

  • Protect confidential pricing and gross margin data, adhering strictly to authorization standards and Motorola Quality policies.


Basic Requirements
  • Data & Analytics: Strong analytical proficiency with advanced expertise in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and process automation/scripting techniques.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate finance or accounting within a multinational organizational environment, accompanied by strong technical aptitude.

  • Core Competencies: Highly self-motivated and collaborative, with strong organizational capabilities, commercial acumen, and effective conflict resolution skills.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) and familiarity with AI tools are highly advantageous.
