Roles & Responsibilities
The Premier Private Client (PPC) Market Head (MH) is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of the high-net-worth client segment and is responsible for overseeing and driving the PPC strategy and initiatives. Reporting in directly to the Head of PPC, the PPC MH is responsible for rendering leadership, managing profitability and loss, ensuring operational efficiency in sales and service delivery, and risk management for teams within the Group.
The PPC MH’s key role and responsibilities include:
To manage, lead and provide direction to PPC Desk Heads to achieve cluster sales performance and productivity targets aligned with the overall growth of PPC
Develop and implement premier private client market strategies, including generating NTB / NTP / NNM client acquisition and growth ideas.
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive PPC strategies aligned with the overall business objectives. Identify target high-net-worth client segments, analyze market trends, and develop sales and service plans to drive growth and client satisfaction.
Grow and develop key PPC growth markets, by building strong network onshore and offshore.
Inculcate a high-performance culture to attract, develop and retain talents.
Manage and engage internal and external stakeholders to help smoothen out processes to enable sales teams to perform at optimal level.
Product & Proposition Development: Collaborate with product development and proposition teams to identify and prioritize product and proposition enhancements for PPC clients. Ensure that the product offering, and Customer Value Proposition meet the specific needs of clients and are in line with market competition.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure effective oversight on compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement and maintain robust risk management practices to protect customer assets and maintain the organization's reputation.
Customer Experience Enhancement: Manage clients’ feedback and complaints in a timely manner. Continuously improve the customer experience by identifying pain points and implementing initiatives to enhance overall service quality.
Possess degree in any discipline from an accredited university / colleges
Minimum 15 years in banking sales position with at least 10 years in leadership experience and managing leaders and teams (plus point to have experience in Private Client or Private Banking space)
Strong networking and business acumen
Passionate in people development
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to multi-task
Familiarity with offshore market is a bonus
Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin due to North Asia market coverage.
