Job DescriptionRole: - PostgreSQL
· Hands on experience in PostgreSQL 8.3 & above versions and understanding operational requirements including hardware, architecting, configuring, integrating, and maintaining all the Development, QA, Staging and Production PostgreSQL databases
· Hands on experience in Log shipping, tablespace,partition
· Hands on experience in PGPool and PGBouncer configuration
· Hands on experience in Master/Slave DB server creation
· Hands on experience in Streaming replication, Archive based replication
· Hands on experience in monitoring databases to diagnose issues, optimize database performance
· Hands on experience in for all backup, recovery, PITR replicating clusters and upgrading/migrating various PostgreSQL database versions.
· Good working knowledge of create and maintain users, roles and assign privileges as per production requirement.
· Good Knowledge of PG Admin-III, WinSCP & Putty
