Introduction

Development and technology enablement of cutting-edge CMOS-integrated TMR sensors in collaboration with a cross-functional team of technology and process engineers

Your Role

  • Design and optimize material stack and device layout to develop a range of highly differentiated TMR sensors.

  • Analyze experimental results to drive process development.

  • Set device and film-level specs to meet product requirements.

  • Build new test capabilities, develop characterization methodologies for different applications and perform measurements.

  • Work with modeling and PDK engineers to model and enable TMR technology.

  • Create new magnetic sensor IP and lead pathfinding and research efforts with partners.

  • Interface with customers on their requirements.

  • Be the go-to expert on TMR sensors.

 

Required Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a background in Magnetics

  • Excellent understanding of MTJ materials and device physics

  • A solid track record of innovation

  • At least 10 years of industry experience in developing and characterizing magneto resistive sensors

  • Experience in thin-film deposition for TMR sensor development

  • Ability to work well in global cross-functional teams

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of CMOS process integration

  • Understanding of circuit designs for TMR sensors

  • Experience working with foundries
