PMO Manager, Data Center Project Delivery
Singapore | Full Time | Permanent
About DayOne
DayOne builds and operates hyperscale data centers across nine markets in APAC and Europe. We raised US$4.5B in Series C funding and are scaling fast across Southeast Asia. In Singapore, our home market and regional headquarters, we hold one of only four permits under Singapore's Pilot DC-CFA and are pioneering Solid Oxide Fuel Cell technology at Jurong East as a proof of concept for hydrogen-based power generation. This is where DayOne's regional strategy is shaped and where what comes next gets built first — and as the project delivery portfolio grows across markets, the internal infrastructure governing how projects are delivered has to scale with it.
About the Role
You'll establish and run DayOne's Center of Excellence for project delivery — designing the standards, frameworks, and processes that govern how data center projects are delivered across the SEA region. This is a process-builder and standards-owner role. You will not be executing project. You will be building the system that makes every project better. This role suits someone who thinks in systems, writes with precision, and has spent meaningful time in data center, construction, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
This role requires data center, construction, or mission-critical infrastructure experience. Candidates from SaaS, IT services, banking, or financial services will not be considered.
Policy and Process Standardization
Design and own standardized project delivery processes, documentation protocols, and internal control frameworks across the SEA portfolio.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, and demarcation across functions and markets.
Embed compliance and risk mitigation into all process design from the outset — not as a retrofit.
Project Delivery Oversight
Develop and maintain delivery assessment frameworks for individual and team performance management across the portfolio.
Collaborate with Account Delivery Managers to tailor delivery approaches to client and project-specific requirements.
Conduct regular on-site inspections across active data center projects in Southeast Asia.
Competency and Team Development
Lead competency assessments in partnership with HR to identify capability gaps across delivery teams.
Design and implement targeted training programs and incentive mechanisms to strengthen team capability across markets.
Reporting and Analytics
Consolidate project data across the delivery portfolio and maintain a single, accurate view of delivery performance for senior leadership.
Build and maintain dashboards for internal management and senior leadership reporting across the SEA portfolio.
Requirements
Technical Skills
5 or more years of experience in PMO, project management, or delivery management, with at least 3 years in data center, construction, or mission-critical infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience designing business processes and policy documentation from the ground up in a multi-market environment.
Strong command of project management methodologies and tools.
Fluent in English and Chinese — required for effective cross-market stakeholder engagement across DayOne's SEA operations.
Comfortable with regular travel to Johor and across Southeast Asia.
Soft Skills
Builds process frameworks that people in the field use
Influences cross-functional stakeholders across markets without direct authority, using credibility and precision rather than hierarchy.
Identifies delivery gaps and systemic risks across the portfolio and escalates with a proposed solution, not just an observation.
Nice to Have
PMP, ITIL, or equivalent project management certification.
Direct data center construction or operations background.
Proficiency with AI productivity tools in a professional setting.
Why DayOne?
This is a Singapore-based role with regional reach and direct visibility to senior leadership. You'll build a function from the ground up — owning the standards and frameworks that govern how DayOne delivers across Southeast Asia. The scope is real, the mandate is clear, and the impact is visible across every project the region runs. If you build clarity where there is none and want your work to shape how an entire region operates, the platform here is the right size and the timing is right.
DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
