(Description of general purpose of the job) Lead and drive the transition planning on relocation project of an existing manufacturing site to a new “Factory of the Future” greenfield facility, targeted to commence in 2 years with full completion by 2032. Hands-on project leadership role from strategy through execution.
Responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of transition strategy, detailed planning activities and actively working with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges in real time. As part of transition planning, the role will be responsible for master data setup for all manufactured and purchased parts in the new plant, oversee the selection and implementation of an Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system, leading change management efforts including training of planners and ensuring process readiness for the new site.
This position will ensure a seamless move while embedding best-in-class planning, scheduling and inventory practices in line with Collins Aerospace standards. Requires deep expertise in production planning, master data management and complex manufacturing project delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities

•
Lead the transition planning of project including the design, execution, and monitoring of activities from the current facility to the greenfield facility, ensuring milestones are met and minimal operational disruption.

Develop and maintain the transition project plan, tracking milestones, dependencies and risk mitigation actions.
•
Set up and validate master data (materials, BOMs, routings, lead times, lot sizes) for all manufactured and purchased parts in alignment with PFEP (Plan for Every Part) principles and site standards.
•
Manage the evaluation, selection and deployment of the APS system, ensuring integration with ERP and alignment to business requirements.
•
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering and Digital Technology teams to align planning systems with operational and business requirements.
•
Monitor scheduling outputs, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain data and schedule integrity.
•
Act as the primary escalation point for scheduling and planning transition issues.
•
Deliver training and coaching for planners and cross-functional users on APS functionality, planning processes and master data governance.

Drive change management efforts to ensure adoption and sustainability of new planning systems and processes.

Document and standardize new planning procedures and governance frameworks for the greenfield plant.

Ensure adherence to operational standards, EH&S regulations, quality requirements and Collins Aerospace policies

Qualification and Education Requirements (Education and Work experience that a candidate should have when applying for position)
Minimum Education required (specific field or equivalent):
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum years of experience in role:
3 – 5 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling and/or master data management in manufacturing
Aerospace, automotive or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing experience preferred
Preferred Skills (if any):
Strong expertise in Master Data Management and production planning systems (ERP/MRP, especially SAP).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into operational improvements.
Comfortable with data and able to handle large amount of data
Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with lean manufacturing and change management best practices.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment.
Professional certifications (APICS CPIM, CSCP, PMP) highly preferred
Hands-on experience with APS tools (e.g. SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Ortems, GanttPlan) and ERP/MRP systems (especially SAP), high desired
