Hitachi Energy is currently looking for Sales, Operations and Planning Manager for Product Line Power Transformers (PL PT) in HUB Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa (APMEA).

Locations: Thailand, Vietnam, India, Turkiye

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible in accommodating business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & deliver within timelines is essential. The candidate will have excellent communications skills.

Mission Statement:

Lead and engage the units within the scope (Global/HUB) to ensure the process is on track with continuous participation by all contributors in the S&OP process, factory and HUB wise. He or she foster collaboration and understanding across all levels of the organization, ensuring that each functional area recognizes its impact on the S&OP process, driving operational excellence and sustainability in compliance with Business Guidelines while providing the training needed to enhance performance and standardization

 Your Responsibility:

  • Process participation and coordination: Ensure timely execution of all S&OP steps, educating stakeholders, arranging smooth information flow, conducting meetings effectively, and monitoring the execution of decisions with escalation when necessary. Collaborate closely to ensure that S&OP process supports organization’s objectives

  • Demand/supply responsibilities: Accountable for developing and maintaining a reliable demand/supply plan, promoting forecasting accuracy, developing scenarios, assessing associated risks and constraints (external and internal), and propose mitigation strategies. Simultaneously, analyze resource requirements and investigate interdependencies.

  • Process standardization: Sales & Operations Planning process standardization implementing consistent procedures across the organization to improve efficiency and compliance.

  • Process improvement and performance measurement: Guide the organization to effectively track, analyze, and improve its S&OP process by establishing relevant performance indicators aligned with the organization goals. She or he will implement systematic methods for accurate data collection, identifying through analysis the areas for improvement. Ensuring that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards and holding teams accountable for their performance.

  • Training and enablement: Mentoring and training team members and stakeholders on the S&OP process, tools, and techniques, creating a culture of continuous improvement and engagement in the S&OP framework.

  • Digitalization/Automation: Promote digitalization by utilization of full technology in S&OP process wherever is possible, and leverage automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, speed up processes, and minimize errors.

  • ITM culture: Enhance efficiency in S&OP process via ITM methodology to support a continuous improvement environment measurable through the corresponding performance metrics.

  • Reporting: Establish a reporting discipline culture by creating a dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of S&OP reviews and demand/supply forecast improvements. Create reporting routines to communicate performance results to the factory, HUB, and BU levels.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering

  • Preferred international recognized certification (IBF, APICS)

  • 10 years of manufacturing experience or similar role

  • Knowledge of S/4 ERP and MS Excel

  • Technical Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project including.

  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets. Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team.

  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables. Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization. On some projects, where applicable, they manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
