Philanthropic Strategy Traineeship [GRIT@Gov]

Support philanthropic policy and strategy by performing data analysis, building dashboards, conducting sector research, and identifying process improvements to deliver timely, actionable insights to management.
[What the role is]
The incumbent will support philanthropic policy formulation through data analysis, dashboard creation, and sectoral research; and facilitate decision-making with timely insights, identify process improvements, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for Community Chest.[What you will be working on]
- Support the formulation and execution of philanthropic-related policies, strategies and messaging through better structuring of data and dashboards, and environmental scanning and sectoral research, to identify emerging trends and build competitive value propositions for Community Chest
- Facilitate informed decision making by providing timely data analysis and insights to the Management
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work across team to implement solutions for enhanced service delivery and internal processes

Skills Required:
- Advanced aptitude in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in programming software, e.g. Python
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesise information
- Ability to work with various team members and balance competing deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear written communication
- Experience in process improvement and data visualisation (e.g., creating dashboards using Power BI) will be an advantage
