Role Summary and Impact 

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on SEM Manager to lead and optimize paid search campaigns across the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and executional excellence, with the ability to work closely with cross-regional stakeholders and deliver against strict performance targets.

Skills and Experience 

What you will do:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize SEM campaigns across platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance and implement hands-on optimizations to meet and exceed defined KPIs and performance thresholds.
  • Analyze campaign data, identify trends and insights, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
  • Translate data and insights into clear, compelling narratives and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Quantify the impact of optimizations and strategic changes through data-driven analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams (HK & TW) to align on strategy, messaging, and execution.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to evaluate user behavior and campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure campaigns are executed with a high level of precision, consistency, and accountability.

What you will need:

  • Proficiency in Traditional Chinese (reading and writing) is required to liaise with regional clients for this role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SEM campaign management across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize campaigns under strict performance targets.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to convert complex data into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Solid understanding of website tracking and tagging; experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong QA capabilities to ensure accuracy in execution and reporting.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment.
  • Structured thinker with strong logical and problem-solving skills.
