Develop and maintain automated test scripts, execute test plans, analyze user requirements, perform load testing, and collaborate with teams to improve software quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
- Analyze user requirements to determine how to translate into business functionality test cases
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Test to ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Analyze test results and report findings to the development team
- Identify and document software and hardware defects
- Collaborate with software developers to resolve issues, make recommendations to existing job infrastructure
- Create and manage bug tracking systems and documentation for tracking
- Collaborate effectively across teams
- Recommend and verify fixes
- Conduct regression testing.
- Perform load and performance testing on systems.
- Review and provide feedback on software requirements and design documents.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input from a testing perspective.
- Maintain test environments and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in developing and testing apps
- Experience in Application programming
- Experience in Database management
- Experience in Computer architecture
- Experience in Load testing tools
- Experience in Automation testing tools
- Experience in using bug tracking software such as JIRA and Confluence
- Understanding of network protocols and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and articulate effectively in both technical and layman terms
- Able to work with minimal supervision
