About the role
Are you looking to grow your career in HR and payroll services? We are seeking a dedicated People Resource Hub Specialist to join our Takeda Business Solutions team within the People Solutions department. This role is based in Singapore covering Korea and APAC regions and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our HR operations.
You will be welcomed into a supportive and experienced team, where you will have the opportunity to continue learning and growing. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, executing payroll and benefits transactions, and supporting HR-related queries. You will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the success of our initiatives.
What you will do:
  • HR Support: Provide knowledgeable support regarding HR policies and procedures, ensuring professional responses to incoming queries.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Support timely and accurate payroll execution, compliance activities, and benefit administration.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by setting expectations and fulfilling promises to employees.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure documentation and requests meet policy requirements, participate in audits, and coordinate with payroll vendors.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with others to ensure consistent and accurate information flow.

What we're seeking in you:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Preferably experience in HR and/or payroll services.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Korean to liaise with internal employees, external payroll vendor, and local government authorities in Korea.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving and customer service skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems like Workday or ServiceNow.
  • Confident approach to building cross-functional partnerships, resilient in adapting to changes, and skilled in process analysis and improvement.
