ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of People Solutions and Operations, the P&O Operations Specialist plays an important role in creating seamless, trusted and people-centered employee experience at Chanel. Combining strong operational discipline with a curiosity for better ways of working, you will help simplify processes, strengthen data quality and use digital and AI-enabled solutions to improve how we serve our people.  This role is integral in maintaining compliance and fostering a positive employee experience through managing essential P&O processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys making things work smoothly behind the scenes, solving day-to-day challenges and helping transform P&O operations for the future.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE

As the backbone of efficient P&O operations delivery, managing critical P&O processes, maintaining accurate data, and commitment to process excellence to directly enhance both the employee experience and organisational compliance:

  • Create seamless employee experiences by delivering reliable support across key moments in the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, mobility, benefits and exits.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance by maintaining high-quality employee records, documentation and processes in line with Chanel policies and local requirements.
  • Be a trusted first point of contact for employee and manager enquiries, providing clear and timely support while directing more complex matters to the right P&O specialist.
  • Make P&O operations simpler and smarter by identifying recurring issues, removing unnecessary steps and improving everyday processes.
  • Use data to improve decisions by monitoring service trends, data quality and recurring employee needs, translating insights into practical actions.
  • Support digital and AI-enabled transformation by embracing new technology, automation and AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, self-service and the employee experience.
  • Enable sustainable people policy and service delivery by taking ownership of implementing and stabilizing new programs, policy and processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 2-3 years experience in P&O, HR operations, shared services or employee lifecycle administration.
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Good applied knowledge to local regulatory and compliance.
  • Confidence using HR systems, digital workflow tools or similar data tools.
  • A data-minded approach: comfortable reviewing information, identifying trends and using insights to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Interest in digital transformation, process automation and the responsible use of AI in the workplace.
  • A solution-focused mindset, with the curiosity and confidence to challenge inefficient processes and test better ways of working.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to support employees and stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
