Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure timely reporting and escalation of transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate transaction monitoring and improvisation as a key strength.
- Possess knowledge of FATF as a key advantage for this role.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tech, Relationship Manager, and Treasury for efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day operations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, stakeholders, and external partners on payment operations performance and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with payment processes. Possess team management experience as one of the key criteria for the candidate.
- Apply project management skills to manage and run various tasks as a project in a timely manner and with utmost accuracy.
- Have an eye for details to ensure nuances are well understood, risks are mitigated, and solutions are sustainable and scalable.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor and respond to email correspondence in a timely manner. Be an effective back-up for the team.
- Deliver on reports, MIS, and administrative tasks assigned. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Has at least 8 years of work experience in payment operations/cash operations.
- Must have understanding and experience in Payments, Swift, Correspondent banking, etc.
- Knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations.
- Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFTS & international payment conventions & practices is a must.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to motivate team and drive the culture of regulatory compliance, customer-first, and Best place to work.
- Ability to provide written and verbal updates appropriate for senior management.
- Ability to produce reporting and metrics suitable for Senior Management.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
- Adaptability in maintaining standards and adjusting effectively to new work structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to multi-task effectively.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- JIRA, Tableau, Alteryx knowledge is an added advantage.
