Role summary

Payoneer is seeking a seasoned, energetic and ambitious Partnerships Manager who takes ownership to the highest level, is able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and has what it takes to deliver on business goals through effective execution. This role will be instrumental in executing our strategy to improve our eCommerce positioning in the region while managing complex partner ecosystems across APAC core markets.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that will be a key driver for Payoneer's growth in the APAC eCommerce segment. You'll join a high-performing partnerships team, focusing on systematic market expansion and competitive positioning in eCommerce Partner & Seller ecosystems.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an eye for detail, strong analytics, creative solutions, and shares our drive to grow the business in the region. Someone comfortable engaging with partners, clients and internal stakeholders at the senior executive level within a fast-paced & dynamic environment, in a matrixed organization.

What you’ll do 

  • eCommerce Partnerships: Drive joint business plans (JBPs) with Key Marketplace partners like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify in core eCommerce APAC markets to capture market share
  • Partner Ecosystem Development: Re-engage legacy partners and systematically acquire new reseller-fit eCommerce partnerships through agencies and lead generation resources
  • Cross-Border Solutions: Manage multi-entity customer acquisition through strategic partnership channels, targeting high-value seller segments
  • Accountable for delivering above-and-beyond targets on revenues, acquisition within an experienced regional team
  • Develop a robust commercial partnerships funnel that continually delivers against aggressive growth targets through pipeline tracking—from acquisition to onboarding and growth of partners to deliver ICPs
  • Customer Engagement Models: Define and implement engagement frameworks, touchpoints, and ownership structures for existing vs. new customers from partner referrals
  • Win-Back Initiatives: Execute systematic win-back motions for churned customers, managing customer win-back list with clear ownership and deduplication processes
  • Go-to-Market Coordination: Prepare communications, manage legal reviews, and coordinate backend configurations with operations teams for pricing campaigns
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and respond to competitive threats through strategic positioning initiatives
  • Event Participation: Coordinate events, roadshows, and co-marketing initiatives to drive awareness and partner acquisition
  • Ramp new partner performance towards optimal referral pace through regular management and analysis of complex sets of data against KPIs, SLAs, and strategic data points
  • Support implementation & optimization of growth initiatives for commercial partnerships across the region
  • Represent Payoneer comfortably to drive awareness, new partner acquisition, and engagement through campaigns, events, and other co-marketing initiatives

Who you are 

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: revenue quota-carrying direct sales experience and/or indirect channels partnerships management, business development in eCommerce, Payments, Financial Services, or strongly relevant verticals
  • eCommerce Expertise: Proven track record managing reseller/affiliate networks in eCommerce space with measurable growth outcomes
  • eCommerce Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with eCommerce Partner Networks, Seller pain points, and cross-border payment solutions
  • Familiarity and knowledge with major eCommerce shopping cart platforms, PSPs, Payment Gateway solutions & implementation partners, acquiring banks, Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) and local acquirers in the Asia Pacific region would be a strategic advantage.
  • Understanding of payments technology fundamentals and ability to conceptualize client or partner selling opportunities
  • Strong experience working with global virtual teams across functions and geographies

Communication & Leadership:

  • Language Skills: Native/fluent Korean OR Vietnamese preferred; fluent in English with outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Executive Engagement: High degree of comfort creating and delivering presentations at the senior level to customers & partner organizations
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated success in delivering against multiple key growth initiatives while working with virtual cross-functional teams
  • Tools & Data : Abundant experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), BI platforms (e.g.PowerBI), ability to analyze complex sets of data against KPIs, SLAs, and strategic data points for performance optimization

Not a must but a great advantage:

  • Direct Amazon SPN experience with Service Provider Network partnerships
  • B2B cross-border trade experience with small-medium businesses
  • Competitive intelligence experience in payments/fintech industry
  • Experience in Vietnam, Korea, or India markets
