Job Responsibilities :

The Partner Success Intern will assist the Business Development team in various administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced business & Sales operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management. Ensuring good follow-up with Merchant Referral Partners (MRP) on missing or additional documents required.

  • Prepare invoice for commercial billing: Ensure proper billing of Set-up fees and terminal rental fees based on commercial agreements. Liaise with finance team for account receivable on expected payments from merchants.

  • MRP Management: Initiate regular meetings, source & consolidation information to response to questions posted from MRP. Checking with MRPs on inactive account to get merchant account to activate transaction usage.

  • Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Payment terminal deployment: Work with operations team to ensure payment terminals are prepared duly by operations department and ensuring payment terminals are installed properly on time.

  • Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager on demand.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop proficiency in data entry, filing, and document management systems.

  • Enhance skills in tracking and following up on missing or additional documents with Merchant Referral Partners (MRP).

  • Understand the process of preparing proforma invoices for commercial billing.

  • Gain knowledge of billing procedures for set-up fees and terminal rental fees based on commercial agreements.

  • Learn to liaise effectively with the finance team to manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payments from merchants.

  • Acquire skills in organizing and conducting regular meetings with MRPs.

  • Learn to source and consolidate information to respond to MRP inquiries.

  • Develop strategies to engage with MRPs and reactivate inactive merchant accounts.

  • Master the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Enhance ability to analyze data and present it in a clear and concise manner.

  • Understand the procedures for preparing and deploying payment terminals.

  • Learn to coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely and proper installation of payment terminals.

  • Develop flexibility and adaptability to perform various tasks as assigned by the Business Development Manager.

  • Enhance problem-solving skills and the ability to handle ad-hoc tasks efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous internship or work experience in an administrative role is a plus.
