As a Paralegal – Corporate Governance & Legal Operations, APAC, you will provide operational and administrative support for corporate governance and legal operations across APAC and PureCircle entities. Working closely with the Manager, Legal Operations APAC, the role focuses on accurate execution, disciplined record keeping, and adherence to established legal processes, enabling the APAC legal team to operate efficiently, compliantly, and at scale.  

What you will do:

  • Corporate Governance Support (All entities in APAC)
    • Prepare routine corporate governance documentation using approved templates and with guidance from the Manager, Legal Operations APAC, including:
      • Board and shareholder resolutions
      • Written consents and minutes
      • Powers of attorney
    • Maintain affiliate minute books, statutory registers, and entity records in physical and electronic form.
    • Assist with entity housekeeping activities, including incorporations, restructurings, and dissolutions, in coordination with the Manager, Legal Operations APAC and in‑house counsel.
    • Support coordination with external company secretaries and local counsel to facilitate filings and respond to information requests.
    • Assist with signature coordination, notarisation, legalisation, and apostille processes where required.
  • Legal Operations & Systems support
    • Maintain and update the entity management system, ensuring accurate records of entity details, directors, officers, and shareholders, in line with Legal Operations standards and priorities.
    • Support the roll‑out and administration of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, including document hygiene and basic data updates.
    • Maintain centralised legal repositories, templates, trackers, and filing systems.
    • Assist with data collection and basic reporting for corporate governance and legal operations activities.
  • Finance, Tax & Vendor Administration
    • Support Finance, Treasury and Tax teams led projects, including review of intercompany agreements based on templates approved by Tax.
    • Assist with onboarding external legal vendors, including administration of engagement letters and related documentation.
    • Support legal budget tracking and basic reporting as requested by the Manager, Legal Operations APAC.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a paralegal or legal administration role, preferably in an in‑house legal team or law firm.
  • Exposure to corporate governance, entity management, or legal administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal systems or CLM tools is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
