Job Scope
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases across production, development, and testing environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Manage Oracle GoldenGate implementations for real-time replication, data synchronization, and disaster recovery across heterogeneous environments.
- Design, monitor, and optimize replication processes, ensuring minimal latency and seamless data flow between source and target systems.
- Perform database backup, recovery, patching, and security administration in alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Proactively monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement tuning strategies for SQL queries, indexes, and replication processes.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including architecture diagrams, replication topologies, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to support database design, deployments, and upgrades.
- Conduct capacity planning, implement database partitioning strategies, and optimize storage management to ensure scalability.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements while safeguarding sensitive information.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical database and replication issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum business continuity.
