Job Profile Summary:

This role supports testing across Prudential’s digital services and platforms. The incumbent will work closely with business, operations and technology teams to ensure quality delivery of enhancements and changes across multiple digital touchpoints and backend systems. The role requires strong insurance domain knowledge, extensive testing experience, and familiarity with customer-facing, agency-facing and internal digital platforms.

Job Description:
  • Analyse business requirements and functional specifications for changes and enhancements across digital services and platforms.
  • Plan, prepare and execute test plans and test cases with clearly defined entry and exit criteria.
  • Execute testing scenarios covering end-to-end digital journeys and backend insurance functions, including policy servicing, claims and/or payments.
  • Validate system integrations between digital platforms, workflow systems and core insurance applications.
  • Identify, log, track and manage defects in collaboration with IT, vendors and business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the QA Lead to prioritise defect fixes and ensure timely resolution and sign-offs.
  • Document test evidence, test outcomes and provide formal sign-off based on agreed business requirements.
  • Support both project-based initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) testing activities.
  • Participate in BAU processing, knowledge-sharing or shadowing activities to deepen understanding of operational processes and customer impact.
  • ·Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, testing standards and overall quality of digital deliveries.

  • Good knowledge of insurance system testing methodology and business processes.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance backend operations, including policy servicing, claims and payment processes.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Independent, proactive and able to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Self-driven, adaptable and able to work under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Working Experience
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience, including prior experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience supporting digital services, platforms or applications, preferably within insurance or financial services.
Education
  • Diploma or Degree holder.
